I take the motorcycle course the first weekend in February -- rain, snow, or sunshine. I figured I would wait until after that to get serious about a bike purchase. I'll have to admit I really like some of the bigger V-twin Japanese cruisers, but they all cost $2,500 more than the Savage, so I'm still leanin' the thumper way at this point. Thanks for asking!
